*Sigh

Too many things, too little time.

Those words keep coming back to me from time to time. There are a lot of things that occupied my mind in these couple of days. It's probably because i got so many wish list, among my busy schedule. I know, i know i have to make it clear, and made up whichever things that i have to focus on, but aren't people are just too selfish that they want everything?

Here is a couple things that i got to choose:

1. Study (even though it's not an option). This is one of my obligation as a medical student to a never ending study. I'm in a pediatric dept now, and in the next two weeks i'm gonna have my final exam. I also have a couple days of night shift, which make me lack of sleep, but in the other hand i got to keep myself healthy in order to do everything.

2. Sewing. I love it so much that i already make 6 kinds of clothes of my own ! *griin* but what complicating me right now is how much time that i have to spend to make each cloth. No study and no sleep? no way :(

3. Scrapbooking. This is also the most amusing thing to me right now. But in these couple months, there are so many occasions and things going on but i don't have the time to make it in to a scrapbook page. Don't even have the time to edit some photos.

4. Reading Books (non-medical). I have tons of novels and other books and magazine that just lay down on my floor, which i don't have the time to read them all. 

Well, actually there are only a few things though. How can i manage to do all that?

Confusing huh? Well, maybe it's all about time management, and my time management sure needs improvement. 

Alright then, it's already late, and i gotta prepare or tomorrow ! Wait for the next post about my self-made clothes !! see yaa !! :)

Happy Birthday Beautiful Mother

Time has traveled so fast, but her beauty and personality remain strong. It's true!!

On her 49th birthday i really couldn't leave Bandung, because I'm in the Forensic Department now, which making me feel like a "prisoner" because of the oncall. But that doesn't make me stop from making her a birthday present. I'm starting this whole idea from scanning this old picture of her, print it into a bigger size photo, and make a nice 12x12 scrapbook page.

Then, i wrap it with a nice gold bow and sent it to her through X-trans Travel straight to Jakartaaa.

A very happy birthday to you mother ! May your life always fill with joy and happiness, and nothing can describe how much I love you and how much I'm proud to be your daughter :))

Opening of Pappa Coffee

it's been too long since the last time i posted, well these days kinda busy and twisted though *griiin

This story actually happened last 2 weekend, when my parents visited me in Bandung on Saturday, 9th of July 2011. Then, we all went to de Ranch, Lembang to come to the opening of my brother & his girlfriend's coffee shop, Pappa Coffee.

While enjoying the family gathering and beautiful weather, of course we don't wanna miss the main attraction of this place, the Horse Riding. 

After about an hour enjoying the Horse Riding we all went to a pretty little corner near the cafetaria inside de Ranch. That's where the Pappa Coffee is ! All of us got to choose whatever coffee we want, and i personally watch my brother making me a very nice caramel latte. It taste so gorgeous ! You all should try it !

Well, we all had a really great time, and had a family dinner after. In the end, no other place feels like home when you're with family rite?  *wink

Random Act of Kindness

Today i feel so happy yet guilty at the same time. Confuse much? 

Well, let me simplify this. I'm so amazed at how kindness react to other people's feeling, at how people makes other happy just because their random act of kindness.

Today, in the hot and sunny 12 pm in Bandung, i'v just finished my final exam at neuro dept and took angkot to the salon just to treat myself. After i got in the angkot, i forgot that i don't have any small change, so i thought maybe the driver would have the change. After i arrived at the salon, i gave my Rp 20.000 to the driver. But, unfortunately he didnt have the change, i was so confused at that moment at how to pay him, when i told him that i will get some changes from the warung nearby, he told me that it's okay, i don't have to pay. He didn't even want to accept my money.

But, whaat?? Is it okay not to pay?? He's gonna suffer a financial loss :( 

I don't have any other choice, but just to let go. And there it is, i feel sooo guilty, i don't know how to pay him back, don't know when to meet him agaim, so i just pray to Allah to give him bunch of blessing, that hopefully his kindness could be paid through other's hand. My heart feels so happy though, realizing at how a total stranger could be so kind to me, so why not be kind to our surroundings and mostly to people that we love?

I'm 100 % believe that if you are kind to others, even to some stranger that you just met, all the kindness will come back to you through so many ways. 

Be kind.

Intermezzoo:

I feel soooo relieved, yet so nervous at the same time. First, i have just finished my SOOCA exam, so it means no more exams for me (hopefully i pass) ;p But secondly, i have a serious killer examiner for my SOOCA exam today, he is dr. THF. I won't be too confident, eventhough i feel like i can answer almost all the questions he asked me, but there's still a part of me unsure. 

Well, let's just skip about that story and continue with another one ;p

Have you ever felt such a feeling coming over you when you heard a song? Probably a song that reminds you of a person, a place, a smell, or even just something that you can't explain. It's like the memory keep coming back to you and made you feel like you were taken back in to that specific time, that make you want to rewind the song as if you could rewind the memory all back. Have you? 

Well, i have. This song reminds me of my junior high school time, when i fell in love with country musics. I remember how i used to listen to this song in my black old civic car while i'm on my way to school.

Study !

 I find it hard to learn about immune system. And i've been trying so many ways to learn it. Well, i found this video quite easy to understand. So we could imagine how things work inside our body.

What's so special about this?

Watchout, it's a long story behind it. ;p

So, here is another story about my longtime boyfriend Mohammad Himawan Prakoso who lives in Jakarta that is just too sweet to be true ;)

Yesterday, he intended to come to Bandung just to see me, because he said that he miss me. We hadn't seen each other for 2 weeks *gosh .  He came to Bandung by Cititrans, and arrived at 1 o'clock in the afternoon. Then, we take a walk and angkot to Kedai Lingling in Cihampelas Street to eat lunch. We spent two hours to talk, shared about what just happened in the last 2 weeks while eating lunch. Yeah you see, we only got a couple of hours a week (sometimes 2) to see each other, so this is the quality time that we own. After lunch, we wanted to go to PVJ, to buy "kuaci" (sunflower seeds, one of my favorite food ;D ) like he promised me. Because the weather quite friendly, and the breeze is very soothing, we decided to walk down to PVJ, yeah literally walking. I'm not saying that it is a short Walk from Cihampelas Street to Sukajadi Street, but it was very fun and yet romantic for me. We walked along under the Pasupati Bridge, holding hands, smiles to each other, laughs, and sometimes keep repeating how lucky we are to have each other in our life. A friend, a besfriend, a partner, a lover, and a soulmate that each other could rely on to ;)

After we arrived at PVJ, we went down to carrefour to get the kuaci, but unfortunately, it was out of stock. I was sad for a moment, but he knew how to bring my smile back, so he quickly grabbed 3 Kinder Joys, Kit Kats and a Pringles. He knows that chocolates are always my bestfriend ;)

But we couldn't stay long, because i have my nite shift in the hospital at 7 pm. So, we went back to my house (walking again) eventually. 

At around 6.45 pm, we walk down to the hospital. He is willing to accompany me because he wanted to see the situation at the Emergency Ward. Isn't he sweet? But sadly, he cannot stay any longer, because he had to get back to Jakarta at around 9 pm. Although we only saw each other for 8 hours yesterday, but it was the most precious 8 hours that could flipped my day amazingly.

I feel so blessed ;)

Hello June !!

Well hello June and bye-bye Maay !! Let me recap what happen a couple of days ago. 

It started on the 29th of May 2011, when my best friend, Mitha, had a her 23rd birthdaay! Too bad i only could call her right at 00.00 on her birthday because she was in Jakarta right at the moment and I was in Bandung. And the  next morning, i gotta fill in my morning shift in the hospital, my housemate Ayu was also in Jakarta, so, there was no way we were having a birthday surprise for her that day, totally. But, since she's gonna get married in 6 months, which means it was probably her last birhtday celebration as a single girl with us, we can't just lay it off. So, on the 30th of May, one day after her actual birthday, we (me and my friends) decided to give the surprise at NAV karaoke, ciwalk. But, too bad the place is already full booked. Then, it turns out, because Mitha was not feeling well that day, so why don't we just give the b'day surprise at our home? And let all the girls and boys come and get together here?

Words of Gratitude

While I' m studying about Diabetes from Prof. Dr. Sri Hartini KS Kariadi, Sp.PD-KEMD 's book, "Diabetes? Siapa Takut!!", there is something that tickles me. She explain all about diabetes and how to manage it. 

But what's catching me is how she reminds  us of how many people always thought diseases as a punishment for them, like Why me??!! Did i do something wrong??

If we think about it once again, maybe we would understand. 

Disease is not merely a punishment for us, it is more of a God's way to reminds us how to keep our body healthy, and try to balance our life, thus we could be  grateful for every single organ, for every single well-organized and well-functioning cell of our body, for every breath that we take, even the every beat of our hearts. How lucky we are ! Could we even count our blessing?

Another B'day Present for Me

Holaaaaa. I just wanna share something ;))

Im so beyoond happy, because two days ago, my long time bestfriend that i missed so much -Karina- came to my house, we were having a sleepover. We talked all nite long until dawn sharing thoughts, stories, and many more. And what is so cute, she brought me a bodyshop mango lipbalm as a birthdaay present, although my b'day is 2 months ago. Aaaaaww how sweet ;)))

 Thank you teek (my nickname for her) !! It taste so sweet, and i'll wear it everydaaay.

Isn't life as sweet as it taste? ;p

dr. Amay Belated B'day Surprise

Happy B'day dear dr. Amayliaa, our favorite preceptor so faar ;)

Well, her actual b'day is on 21st of May, but we didn't have the opportunity to give her the surprise on that day, so we (me and group 4 IPD), decided to give her something worth to remember. So there come the idea of giving her a 12x12 scrapbook page, thus she could always remember us just by looking at the page ;D

Then my friends ask me to do the scrapbook page, gladly i'd say "Yes, I'll do it !" 

After all night long, finally the scrapbook page is all done. ;)

Then, we decided to give her the belated b'day surprise on friday, 27th of May, before we all went home. We waited in our ruko (ruang koas) for her secretary to call us to her office whenever dr. Amay arrived, so we all could come in. 

After waited for an hour, finally we all came up to her office and gave her the present and the birthday cake ;) She looks so happy and surprised at the same time. Yeaaay !! it works. We hope you like the present from us dr. Amay ;p because we made it with all our heart especially for you. ;))

Hello Fellaaas

This is probably my first post, well i'm quite excited starting my blog *big griiinnn. This blog may contain many of my dreams, story of my life, my imagination and so on. 

I'm not too confident to start writing on a blog at first, but a lotta friends of mine told me to try it first. And voila, in this cold and rainy nite, im just writing whatever things crossing on my mind rite now. Shouldn't i'd been studying for tomorrow? well, actually im not really in the mood though. I might want to take a hot shower first and drink a cup of hot milk after ;p
